    Installation tip! If you tend to have high water pressure. Turn water pressure down under sink slightly to avoid risk of seal blowout.
  • OSHA refers to American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Z358.1, Standards for Emergency Eyewash and Shower Equipment. The standard requires that an eyewash device be placed:

    • within 10 seconds of potential hazards and immediately adjacent to strong caustics or acids
    • on the same level as the hazard in an obstruction-free path of travel
    • in a well-lit area
    • near a highly visible sign, identifying the eyewash device

    The ANSI standard also requires that the eyewash device:

    • begin flushing within one second of activation
    • must flush both eyes simultaneously
    • must utilize a stay-open valve
    • must maintain a flow rate of .4 gallons per minute for 15 minutes

    Bradley Faucet Mount Eye Wash Station S19-200B

     

    Low-cost Bradley faucet eyewash mounts easily to both standard and gooseneck faucets. For eyewash use, leave cold water supply on at all times. To operate unit pull actuator pin toward user. For faucet use, water flow is activated by the use of the diverter pin. Push the pin to the opposite side for water flow. NOTE: To eliminate the risk of scalding eyes during use, it is recommended that hot water supply to the faucet be disconnected or that tempered water be provided.
